
Creamy Avocado Hummus

Ingredients
- 2 avocados
- 400g can of chickpeas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp ground coriander
Method
STEP 1
Drain liquid from the chickpeas into a bowl, then rinse them and leave to one side.
STEP 2
Add the remaining ingredients, along with 60ml of the chickpea water, to a food processor. Our Fearne by Swan 3 Litre Food Processor is a great choice here!
STEP 3
Blend for around 2 minutes. The mixture should be a smooth, creamy texture once you're done.
STEP 4
Add the chickpeas to the food processor, and blend for another 2-3 minutes. If you need to, add a little more of the liquid from the chickpeas. And there you have it – your creamy avocado hummus is ready to go. Why not dip in some pitta bread, or add it to a tasty falafel wrap?
