Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cup spelt or whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 tbsp low-fat milk
  • 5 tbsp soya milk
  • 6 sundried tomatoes
  • Finely chopped chives, as required
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste

Method

STEP 1

Drain excess oil from sun-dried tomatoes by placing them on a kitchen towel and pressing them. Finely chop these sundried tomatoes and set them aside.

STEP 2

In an electric mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and chives. Mix well.

STEP 3

Start the electric mixer at slow speed and slowly add olive oil, low-fat milk, and soy milk. Once you get a dough, stop the mixer.

STEP 4

Using your hands, take the dough out of the mixing bowl and place it on a floured oven tray.

STEP 5

Using your hands, flatten the dough into a circle of about 2 inches thickness. Lightly score the dough using a sharp knife.

STEP 6

Place it in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. Once done, take it out of the oven, and once it reaches room temperature, serve.
