Slow cooker meatballs & chorizo pasta

Ingredients

  • Meatballs
  • 1 onion
  • 75g chorizo
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 Tsp mild chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp garlic puree
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp sun dried tomatoes
  • 650g tomato passata
  • 50-100ml red wine
  • 800ml stock
  • 300g pasta

Method

STEP 1

Brown of the meatballs in a pan

STEP 2

In the slow cooker, add all the ingredients except pasta & stock

STEP 3

Put on low heat for 4 hours

STEP 4

Add pasta & stock to slow cooker

STEP 5

Turn to high heat for 1 hour

STEP 6

Optional: Top with cheese and basil
