Crispy Chinese Chicken
Crispy Chinese Chicken is a flavorful and satisfying dish that brings the perfect balance of crispy, crunchy texture with tender, juicy chicken. Ingredients
- 360g chicken, diced
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 inch ginger diced
- 1 egg
- 23g cornflour
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 red & green pepper, diced
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice
- A pinch of sweetener or sugar
- Spring onion
- Basmati instant rice
- Glaze: 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce, 1 tsp dark soy, 1 tsp honey & squeeze of lemon
Method
STEP 1
In a bowl, add the diced chicken, 1 diced garlic clove, 1 inch diced ginger and 2 tsp soy sauce. Mix well
STEP 2
Prepare an egg wash and cornflour to coat
STEP 3
Apply egg wash to chicken then corflour after.
STEP 4
Once fully coated, apply some spray oil and air fry at 190 degrees for 14-16 minutes
STEP 5
In a bowl, add 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce, 1 tsp dark soy, 1 tsp honey, and a dash of lemon juice
STEP 6
Add glaze and chicken to a hot man and fry for a couple minutes
STEP 7
Top with spring onions and sesame seeds
