Chocolate Cake with the Swan Bread Maker

Chocolate cake can be super tasty and really fun to make at home. Adjusting the time and temperature for baking to having a perfect and evenly risen cake is hard to achieve. But when you have the Swan Bread Maker, then even baking a cake is so easy. The recipe we are using is perfect for decadent and moist chocolate cake. It is so delicious that you will keep coming back for it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 cup Unsalted Butter, softened at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • ½ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Chocolate Frosting, whipped

Method

STEP 1

Remove the bread pan from the Swan Bread Maker.

STEP 2

Now, set the Swan Bread Makers to the "Cake" setting and let it pre-heat. Whisk the sugar, light brown sugar, and eggs until pale in a large mixing bowl or stand mixer.

STEP 3

Add butter and vanilla to the mixture and mix at the lowest setting until combined.

STEP 4

Add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder to make a dry mixture in a separate bowl.

STEP 5

Gradually add milk and dry mixture to the mixing bowl and start mixing from the lowest setting to medium to avoid lumps.

STEP 6

Mix the cake batter well until incorporated. Mix in the mini chocolate chips and fold. Please avoid overmixing.

STEP 7

Pour the cake mix into the bread pan and place the bread pan in the bread maker.

STEP 8

Start the cooking and let it bake for 75 to 85 minutes according to the cake setting.

STEP 9

Once the cake is ready, remove the bread pan from the bread maker and slip the bake over a cooling rack.

STEP 10

Let the cake cool at room temperature. Cover with chocolate frosting and serve.
